Bethany Blair played three years of varsity basketball at Esperanza High School in Anaheim, CA under head coach Marc Hill...Capped her prep career with Sunset League MVP and First Team All-CIF accolades as a senior...Also earned First Team honors from the Los Angeles Times and Orange County Register in 2000-01...Esperanza won the Sunset League and was the CIF Division 1AAA runner-up last season...Blair averaged 13.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.0 steals as a senior...Broke onto the school's top-10 all-time scoring and rebounding lists...Scored a career-high 25 points twice during her senior season...Also competed as a high jumper during the hoops off-season...Earned Esperanza Scholar-Athlete recognition.
