Kat Suderman continued her strong post play and helped lead UCSB to Big West Conference wins over Long Beach State and Cal State Northridge last week.
Suderman, a junior forward, scored a career-high 19 points, hauled in a season-high eight rebounds, and tied a career mark with two blocked shots in Santa Barbara¹s 70-62 road win over the 49ers. She also played a career-high 30 minutes.
Suderman had another solid effort in Saturday's rout of the Matadors, tallying 14 points, six boards, and a block in 20 minutes. UCSB's 88-44 win was its largest margin of victory since 2002.
The San Luis Obispo, Calif. native shot 53.4% for the week and has now scored in double figures in six of the Gauchos¹ last seven games.
