To help celebrate and honor National Women and Girls in Sports Week, UCSB Athletics is pleased to announce that girls eighth grade and younger will be admitted free to the two upcoming women's basketball games this week. All the girls need to do to get free admission on Thursday and Saturday is wear their youth team's jersey to the game.
The Gauchos host Pacific on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. and UC Davis on Saturday at 2 p.m. Both games are in the Thunderdome.
The games are part of National Women and Girls in Sports Week. Girls ages 7-13 are also welcome to submit an essay about how sports play a role in their lives. For more information on the essay, which also can give girls a chance to catch a UCSB game for free, please click here.

The Intercollegiate Athletics Ticket Office now has two parking spaces adjacent to the building and is now open on Saturdays, making it easier than ever for fans to purchase tickets. The ICA Ticket Office will be open from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays. The two parking spots, designated specifically for the ticket office, are already available during weekday hours, which are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
