Chris Devine and Lindsay Gottlieb Featured on the Radio This Week

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Men's basketball player Chris Devine, recently named to the All-Big West First Team, and women's basketball head coach Lindsay Gottlieb, named the Big West Coach of the Year, will both be featured on morning radio shows this week.

Devine, only the second UCSB player in history to be named an all-conference player four times, will be on KJEE 92.9 FM during the morning show with Spencer and Adam beginning at 9:10 a.m. on Thursday morning. The men's team will play at approximately 8:30 p.m. Thursday night in the Big West Tournament. The Gauchos are seeded No. 4 and will tip-off about 30 minutes following the finish of the 6:00 p.m. game in Anaheim.

After leading UCSB to a 15-1 conference mark, Gottlieb was named Coach of the Year in her first season at the helm. Gottlieb will be on KLITE 101.7 FM at 7:45 a.m. during the morning show with Gary and Catherine. Gottlieb's Gauchos, seeded No. 1 in the tournament, will play their first game on Friday at noon vs. the lowest remaining seed.

Fans wanting to go to the Big West Tournament are encouraged to see members of the UCSB ticket staff at the Anabella Hotel in Anaheim to pick up their tickets, to have questions answered and for more information at the following times: Thursday from 3-5 p.m.; Friday from 2:30-4:30 p.m.; and Saturday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The Anabella Hotel is located next to the Anaheim Convention Center and is located at 1030 W. Katella Ave.

Fans who have ticket inquiries are asked to call (805) 893-UCSB, or show up in Anaheim to meet with a UCSB Ticket Office representative.

Student tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the Anaheim Convention Center Box Office beginning one hour prior to each session UCSB plays in. Look for the window labeled UCSB Students and please have your UCSB student identification with you.
