Read All About the Gauchos in Preparation for Tonight's NCAA Tournament Game

Tonight the No. 15 seed and Big West champion UC Santa Barbara women's basketball team will face Stanford at Cox Arena in San Diego.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 and broadcast in Santa Barbara on KTMS 990 AM and KCSB 91.9 FM.

In its on-going effort to draw awareness to breast cancer and to promote its research, the UCSB Athletics Department will sponsor "Pink Week" at three of its athletics events on Mar. 28, 2009. Three UCSB intercollegiate events, scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 28, have been desiganated "Pink Week" games. The women's tennis match, slated for 11 a.m. on the Robertson Gymnasium Courts, a softball doubleheader scheduled to start at 12 p.m. on Campus Diamond, and a 12 p.m. women's water polo match at Campus Pool will all be part of the effort.

"Pink Week" is part of UCSB Athletics' BE Great initiative.
