• Gaucho Update
UC Santa Barbara enters Sunday's game vs. San Francisco at 1-5 on the season following a 77-53 loss at Saint Mary's on Friday night. Kelsey Adrian scored a career-high 17 points in the loss while Sweets Underwood had 10 points and seven rebounds.

• WCC = Winning Contests Certainly
Don't be fooled by UCSB's losses this season to West Coast Conference teams Pepperdine and Saint Mary's. Since 1999-2000, the Gauchos are 17-9 vs. WCC teams.

• UCSB and USF
The Gauchos and Dons have not met since November, 1994 which also marks the only time Santa Barbara has beaten San Francisco in the two teams history. UCSB is 1-6 vs. the Dons. USF, 2-4 this season, is coming off a 106-88 loss vs. Sacramento State on and is 0-2 vs. the Big West this season. San Francisco lost 69-45 vs. UC Davis and 69-66 to Cal State Fullerton.

• A Mason, But Without the Bricks
Sophomore Destini Mason got her largest amount of court time on Friday vs. Saint Mary's and we should expect to see her more after her performance. The Moreno Valley, Calif. had career-bests in every category going 3 of 6 from the field and 3 of 4 from the line for nine points while adding two steals, two rebounds and an assist.

• How Sweets It Is
With 10 points and seven rebounds against the Gaels Sweets Underwood continued her impressive streak. Over her past four games Underwood is averaging 12.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game - all off the bench. The sophomore forward is averaging 10.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game overall this season, both of which rank second on the team.

• Yo Adrian!
Junior guard Kelsey Adrian reached a career-high with 17 points on Friday night and has moved atop the list as the Gauchos' leading scorer with an average of 11.7 points per game this season. Adrian has scored in double-digits in three straight games and four of Santa Barbara's six games this season. Over her past three games she is averaging 14.3 points per game.

• No Apples in This Turnover
The Gauchos have had trouble with turnovers this season, averaging 19.3 turnovers per game while UCSB's opponents are averaging 15.7 per game. Last season UCSB committed 649 turnovers (20.3 per game) which was the eighth-most in school history.

G 10 Emilie Johnson - Averaging just 7.0 points over her last four games, shooting 9 of 51 (17.6 percent) from the field.
G 24 Angelei Aguirre - Averaging 4.75 assists per game over her past four contests.
