Oriol attended Bonita Vista High School...She played center midfield on the Varsity team all four years, served as the Captain for two, while accumulating four Metro Conference Titles and two CIF Finals appearances...As a sophomore she earned First Team All-Metro Conference and Second Team All-CIF honors in addition to the teams `Coaches' Award...She was recognized after her junior and senior seasons as a member of the First Team All-Metro Conference and First Team All-CIF teams, in addition to being nominated as her league's Most Valuable Player...She had a career tally of 68 goals to go along with 42 assists, with 29 goals alone coming in her junior season...Coached by Ronnie Pietia.

Born October 16, 1982 in Chula Vista, CA...Majoring in Communication...Played on the Varsity Field Hockey Team for two years in high school...At the club level, she played for the San Diegito Surf from `98 to `00 helping them earn three Surf Cup, Regional, and State Championships in `98,'99, and `00, to along with two WAGS Championships in `98 and `00...The 2000 Surf squad garnered the National Championship...She was recognized as First Team All-Academic for field hockey and soccer as a junior and senior at Bonita Vista and was listed on the Principal's Honor Roll following her junior year...The daughter of Pete and Adele Oriol.
