Yumul was at Drake University for two years...She played attacking midfield and defensive midfield at Drake...Redshirted the 2002 season for the Bulldogs after suffering a knee injury...Returned for her freshman year in 2003 and played in 11 matches, starting one and scoring one goal...Drake won the Missouri Valley Conference in her one season of activity. Attended San Clemente High School where she played for former UCSB All-American Lisa Busch...Helped San Clemente to a second-place finish in league...At the club level, Yumul played for the Southern California Blues, where she was coached by former UCSB coach Tad Bobak...Competed three years for the Blues...Played forward and stopper for the Blues...Coast Soccer League Cup Champions...National Cup Semifinalist and Surf Cup Champions...Also played three years for the San Diego Surf where she was coached by Henry Sosa and Colin Chester...Helped the Surf to the 2002 State Cup Semifinals and to the Presidio League Championship.
