Softball Tryouts to be Held on Sept. 19
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara softball coaching staff will be hosting open tryouts for the 2011-12 season on Monday, Sept. 19 at Rob Gym Field. The tryouts will begin at 2 p.m.
Before trying out, prospective student-athletes must complete a medical release form and return it along with proof of insurance to the Intercollegiate Athletics Training Room. The form may be accessed online here.
Additionally, student-athletes wishing to tryout should contact assistant coach Christine Ramos via email at Christine.Ramos@athletics.ucsb.edu to inform the staff of their intention to participate.
Those trying out must be enrolled in the minimum number of units at UCSB and be able to commit a full year to the team.
UCSB softball is a NCAA Division I program and competes in the Big West Conference.
