A graduate of St. Francis High School, Jaqueline played three years of varsity softball as an outfielder and pitcher under Coach Paula Martinez…She earned a total of seven varsity letters in softball (3), field hockey (2), and basketball (2)…As a senior, she batted .370 on the season and finished with a .414 on-base percentage…In the circle, Jaqueline also set the Lancers’ single game strikeouts record with 11 in a complete game effort versus Valley Christian (4/23/2013)…She was selected to the All-West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL) Second Team after her senior campaign, and was also an all-state nominee, and a scholar athlete…The Lancers reached the WCAL semifinals for the second consecutive year and the Central Coast Section quarterfinals…In her junior year, Jaqueline was named First Team All-WCAL after hitting a WCAL leading .531 batting average with 43 hits, 11 RBI, and 22 runs…She also finished with a .557 on-base percentage and a .691 slugging percentage…Aside from the league’s first team honors, she was also named First Team All-Peninsula, earned the All-Peninsula Gold Glove Award, was nominated for ESPN All-State and WCAL Player of the Year accolades, and was selected as the Most Valuable Offensive Player by her team…Her most dominant performance as a junior came in the CCS quarterfinals when she went 4-4 versus North Salinas (5/16/12)…That season, she helped lead the Lancers to the WCAL semifinals, and also to the CCS semifinals after making it to the second round the year before…Jaqueline also found postseason success in other sports, as she won the 2012 CCS Field Hockey Championship and also played on the Lancers’ basketball team in the 2012-13 season that finished as the state’s Division II runner-up, Nor Cal Champions, and CCCS Open Divison runner-up…Jaqueline also excelled in the classroom, as she was a scholar athlete in each sport every year, made the high-honor roll, was a member of the National Honors Society, and was awarded for her academic excellence in the mathematics department in the 2010-11 school year.

Jaqueline Anna Hinojosa was born on 4/17/1995 in Mountain View, California to parents Pepe and Sue…Her most memorable sports moment was when her basketball team played in the Nor Cal and State basketball championships at Sleep Train Arena, home of the Sacramento Kings…Jaqueline names Kevin Durant and Derek Jeter as her top athletes, while she roots for the San Franciso Giants, the 49ers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder…Her favorite movies are Remember the Titans, Step Borthers, and Pitch Perfect…She enjoys watching Burn Notice, Glee, and One Tree Hill…Her favorite music artists are Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, and Beyonce…In her free time, she enjoys playing almost any sport and hanging out with her dad, who she calls her number one role model…She has two sisters: Jessie (20) and Jodi (17)…She plans on majoring in economics & accounting, as she aspires to one day own a successful business.
