One of four players to start all 53 games...Posted a .327 batting average in 168 at-bats, good for second on the team...Was second amongst the Gauchos and ranked in the Big West top-10 with her 55 hits...Her .482 slugging percentage and 81 total bases led the team...Also was the team leader and ranked in the conference top-10 for doubles (11) and RBI (33)...Tied for first on the team for runs scored (33) and triples (3), ranking amongst the conference best in those catagories as well...Posted a .942 fielding percentage from third base and was second on the team and seventh in the Big West with her 103 assists...Tied for ninth in the Big West for most multiple hit games with 14...Opened the season going 1-for-2 in the first two games of the year including a double, a RBI, two walks, and two runs against No. 23 Massachusetts (Feb. 9)...Posted a season-high three hits and four RBI during a 9-6 nonconference win over Long Beach State (Feb. 17)...Just over a week later, she had another three-hit showing going 3-for-3 with her first homerun of the season on Feb. 25 against Santa Clara...Went 1-for-3 with a RBI double and a run against No. 12 Stanford (Mar. 11)...Her success against ranked teams continued against No. 11 UCLA on Mar. 27 as she went 1-for-4 with two RBI in the 3-1 win...Began a season-high nine-game hit streak on Apr. 21 against Cal State Northridge, the streak included five multiple hit games and three multiple RBI games...Had two hits, including her second homerun of the year, and three RBI in the Gauchos' first Big West victory of the year against Northridge (Apr. 22)...Was stellar in the opening game of the Cal Poly series, going 2-for-4 with a double, a run, and three RBI; the Gauchos won the game, 5-0 (Apr. 28)...Scored one of the runs and drove in the other in UCSB's narrow 3-2 loss to No. 13 Oregon State on Apr. 30...Had one hit in each of the NCAA Regional games, including a 1-for-3 performance with a run and a stolen base against Loyola Marymount in the season closer on May 19....Currently ranks in the Gaucho all-time single season top-10 for RBI, runs scored, doubles, and triples.
Played shortstop for Susan Johnson and Derald Adair at Ventura College...Posted a .509 batting average with nine triples, four homers, and 53 RBI for the Pirates...The team MVP was named First Team All-State, Western State Conference Player of the Year, and Ventura County Player of the Year...She was also awarded Freshman of the Year honors...Graduated in 2005.
Played center field, second base, and shortstop at Buena High School...Was named the Channel League MVP her junior season and set a Ventura County record with 26 doubles...Hit .516 with five triples, six homeruns and 32 RBI for coaches Amy Thomas and Glen Allen...Was a three-time All-County First Team selection and four-time All-Channel League First Team pick in high school...The Bulldogs' MVP earned numerous team awards including Golden Bat, Golden Glove, and Most Inspirational Player...Also played three years on the varsity basketball squad...Was named the BHS Female Athlete of the Year her senior season.
