2011-12: Placed sixth in the 200-yard individual medley, posting a personal best time in the prelims of that event of 2:03.57, placed eighth in the 100-yard butterfly (56.01), finished sixth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:03.14) and took part in the 800-yard freestyle relay, which placed first and set a new UCSB school record with a time of 7:17.82 at the MPSF Championships…Also posted a personal best time of 24.34 in the 50-yard freestyle at the Arena Invitational. 

2010-11: Took third in the 800 freestyle relay (7:22.23) at the MPSF Championships…Placed sixth in the 200 free (1:51.20), 12th in the 100 free (51.75) and 15th in the 50 free (24.00). 

Attended Homstead High School and swam for head coach Jenny Aviet...Earned High School All-American honors her sophomore through senior years...Named the Mustang's MVP following both her junior and senior seasons...Swam club for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics under coach Scott Shea...Earned the US Army Reserve's National Scholar-Athlete Award...Was a three-time Scholastic All-American.

Anne Katherine Peanasky was born on Nov. 6, 1992 in Mountain View, Calif....Parents are Mike and Sandy Peanasky...Has two older sisters, Jill and Kristy, and a younger brother, Joe...Nicknamed "Annie"...Majoring in biochemistry at UCSB with ambitions of pursuing a medical career...When she's not swimming, she enjoys wakeboarding, eating and going to the beach...Names "Zoolander" as her favorite movie...Says getting her Junior National cut in the 200 IM was her most memorable athletic achievement.
