Attended Montgomery High School where she swam for Mark
Stanley...Earned All-American honors in the 100 breaststroke and
200 individual medley...Was named the Vikings' Swimmer of the Year
as a senior...Made the North Coast Section finals in the 100 breast
all four years of her prep career...Set Empire records in the 100
breast in 2009 and 2010...Helped lead the Vikings to the North Bay
League Championship in 2008...Swam club for Neptune Swimming and
was coached by Dan Greaves...Set a team record in 2009 in the 100

Helena...Daughter of Jonathan Yamauchi and Hermine Terhorst...Has
two older sisters: Mia, who graduated from Cal, and Penelope, who
swims for Arizona State...Majoring in communication at
UCSB...Aspires to one day work in the media or public
relations...Enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach,
going on bike rides and baking when not in the pool...Names "The
Hangover" as her favorite movie and enjoys reading the "Twilight"
