Freshman swimmer Sara Nicponski broke two UCSB records and posted NCAA qualifying times last week at the Husky Invite in Federal Way, Washington.
On the second day of competition, Nicponski finished second in the 100 breaststroke with a school record time of 1:01.56. On the third and final day in Washington, Nicponski took third in the 200 breaststroke, setting another UCSB record with a time of 2:13.63.
