2007 Season -- Closed out her freshman season with a 39:12.07 in the 10,000m at the Conference Championships...Was 10th at the Northridge Invitational with a time of 11:07.08 in the 3000m...Took 3rd place at the Cal Poly dual meet with an 11:03.15 in the 1500m.

High School -- Competing for the Monarchs of Archbishop H.S. in Northern California, Arellano finished 3rd at the West Catholic Athletic League 3200m final... During the '05 Cross Country season, she helped lead the team to a WCAL title with her 6th place finish as the Monarchs number two runner... The Monarchs would go onto finish 4th as a team in the Division III Central Coast Section finals.

Personal -- A National Press Club Ellen Masin Persina Scholarship Award Winner... Turned down acceptance letters to the Ivy Leagues, choosing the UCSB community to pursue her academic and athletic aspirations... Is enrolled in UCSB's College of Creative Studies, where her focus is Biology.
