Began the season by winning the 100m dash in 12.59 at Gaucho Round-Up...Placed third in the 100m dash clocking in 12.19 at the Cal Poly Dual Meet for her new personal best.

2009
Ashford's best race was at the Big West Championships, where she clocked a 12.44 in the 100m during the preliminary round...Earlier in the season she ran 12.47 at the Big West Challenge Cup...Was a heat winner at the USC Invitational with a time of 12.76, and at the Ben Brown Invitational with a time of 12.84.

Redshirted the 2008 season.

High School

Ashford was a CIF Champion of the 100m in 2006...Was the 2006 Freeway League athlete of the season...Won the Orange County Championship in the 100m in 2006...Holds the Freeway League record in the 100m (12.15) and 200m (25.3).

Personal
Ashford is majoring in sociology with a minor in education...Wants to be a high school counselor after college...Enjoys shopping and listening to music.
