Competed in the CMAC of the CIF-Central Section...Was All-League all four of her high school seasons, and All-CIF her senior year...Qualified for the California State Meet her senior year...Holds Sanger High School records in the 300m hurdles (46.42), 100m hurdles (15.65), long jump (18'5"), and was a member of the record-setting sprint medley team (4:23.11)...Was a four-year scholar athlete and in the top-25 of her class at graduation, and is a lifetime member of CSF.

Gines is double-majoring in psychology and sociology...Hopes to become a sports psychologist or a high school counselor...Member of Real Life Christian Fellowship...Enjoys playing basketball and volleyball...John Mayer is her favorite music artist, and "The Lion King" is her favorite movie.
