2017: Despite entering the year at less than 100% health, recorded one of the most productive seasons in program history ... Over 24 matches and 90 sets, recorded 526 kills on 1,366 swings (team-high .265 hitting percentage) for an NCAA-leading 5.84 kills per set average ... First Gaucho ever to lead the country in kills per set for an entire season ... Picked up a slew of awards after the season, including All-Big West First Team, All-Pacific South Region First Team, Team MVP, and AVCA All-America honorable mention ... Just the fifth Gaucho in program history to earn All-America status multiple times (Stacey Schmidt, Dana Vargas, Roberta Gehlke, Kathie Luedeke) ... Only three other players in the country finished over 5.00 kills per set ... Only Big West player selected to the All-Pacific South Region Team ... Elsewhere on the stat sheet, racked up 255 digs (2.83 per set, good for second on the team), 40 blocks (0.54 per set), a team-high 12 solo blocks, and 25 service aces (0.28 per set) ... Also led the country with a 15.18 attacks per set average and 6.46 points per set average ... Recorded 36 kills in five sets against No. 15 Florida State on Aug. 26, a UCSB rally scoring era record and the most kills recorded in a single match by any player NCAA-wide in 2017 ... Arguably her best performance of the season came against UC Irvine on Nov. 10, as she pounded down 32 kills – giving her the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the Big West for single-match kills in 2017 – including nine in the decisive fifth set alone ... Was named the AVCA and VolleyMob.com National Player of the Week as well as Big West Player of the Week on Oct. 24 after recording 20 or more kills in each match of a 3-0 week for the Gauchos ... 2016: Turned in one of the best freshman seasons in program history in 2016, earning a litany of awards including All-America, Big West Freshman of the Year, and Team Co-MVP (alongside junior outside hitter Chanel Hoffman) ... Was also named All-Big West First Team, All-Region Honorable Mention, Big West All-Freshman Team, and Big West All-Academic Team ... Entered 27 matches and 95 sets for the year with 389 kills (4.09 per set) on .246 hitting, 198 digs (2.08 per set), 29 aces (0.31 per set), and 44 blocks (0.46 per set) ... She is UCSB's first All-American since Taylor Formico in 2012 and just the third freshman Gaucho ever to gain All-America status (Formico, 2012, and Roberta Gehlke, 1997) ... Her 4.09 kills per set led the team, ranked third in conference, ranked fourth in the nation among freshmen, and ranked 42nd overall in the nation ... Recorded a team-high eight double-doubles ... Her 0.31 aces per set led the team ... Was named the Big West Freshman of the Week on five separate occasions, the second-most in league history ... Was named to the All-Tournament Team in three of the four tourneys UCSB played in, and was named MVP of the USF Challenge won by the Gauchos (38 kills and 19 digs in three matches) ... Also named all-tournament at the UNLV Invitational (59 kills over three matches) and the Thunderdome Classic (61 kills over four matches) ... Notched season-highs in both kills (27) and digs (15) in just four sets against Cal State Fullerton on Nov. 11, a UCSB victory ... Reached the 20-kill plateau in five matches ... Set a new UCSB rally-scoring era record with eight service aces against UC Irvine on Nov. 5 ... In that contest, finished with a near triple-double (11 kills, nine digs, eight aces) ... One of three Gauchos ever to record eight aces in a match ... Had a season-best eight blocks, three solo, against CSU Bakersfield on Sept. 2 ... 27 of her 29 aces came in conference play (team-best 0.53 per set) ... Averaged over 5.0 points per set in August and Novemeber, and finished at 4.9 for the month of September ... In the first four matches of conference play, Ruddins missed two games and was limited in two others ... UCSB was 6-2 when she recorded a double-double.

2015: Ruddins was granted a redshirt medical hardship year after season ending injuries … Played in 15 sets through six matches … In her final appearance, she set season-highs with nine kills and two block assists against CSUN (10/2/15) … In that same match, she also swung for a season-high 32 kill attempts … She recorded a season-high two total blocks in two matches … Set a season-high with three digs versus Loyola Marymount (9/18/15) … Overall, hit at a .098 clip, averaged 1.93 kills per set, recorded nine digs, and posted a total of five blocks.

High School: Played for four years at Aliso Niguel High School under coach Don Pedro Butler … Completed her four years as the program’s all-time kills leader (1,034) and service aces (115) … She also finished her prep career with 156 blocks and 352 digs … As a senior, she served as a team co-captain and led all of Orange County with 474 kills and led the Wolverines to their first ever CIF Southern Section Div. IA Championship and to their second consecutive Sea View League title … She had two of her best matches in 2014 with her 30-kill outing versus J Serra (9/18/14) and hitting at a 76.9 percent clip for 21 kills against Trabuco Hills (10/9/14) … At the end of the season, MaxPreps ranked her team No. 22 in the nation … ANHS finished with a 29-2 record in Ruddins' senior campaign, as she registered a .473 kill percentage, 153 digs, 53 total blocks, and 33 aces along with her county-leading kills total …Those figures helped her earn the titles of All-CIF SS Div. IA Player of the Year, Orange County Register's All-County Player of the Year, League MVP, Second Team AVCA Under Armour All-American, and Honorable Mention Volleyball Magazine All-American … To cap off her prep career, Ruddins was listed in Volleyball Magazine's Fab 50, MaxPreps California All-State Volleyball Team-Div. I, Max Preps Second Team All-America, and Daily Prep Talk’s 2014 All-SoCal Team … Her impressive passing skills also landed her the No. 15 spot on the Senior Aces Top 100 … In 2014, she led her team to a first-place finish in the Queen’s Court Elite Varsity Division and to first-place at the University Tournament … As a junior, she recorded 371 kills (.354 hitting percentage), 42 total blocks, 118 digs, and 37 aces … That year, the Wolverines reached the CIF SS Div. IA quarterfinals … She was named to Prep Volleyball’s Class of 2015 Top 50 Juniors and also earned First Team All-CIF SS-Div.
