In her first season as a Gaucho, Michelle Christ played in 33 of UCSB's 34 matches and in 89 of 115 games...Making the move to middle blocker from the right side, Christ averaged 2.25 kills and 0.57 digs per game...She was second on the team with 0.88 blocks per game...Had 10 block solos and a team best 68 block assists...Was third on the team in hitting percentage with a mark of .295...Had a career-high 14 kills in back-to-back matches vs. Long Beach State and Pacific in the Thunderdome...
