In her first season as a Gaucho, Michelle Christ played in 33 of UCSB's 34 matches and in 89 of 115 games...Making the move to middle blocker from the right side, Christ averaged 2.25 kills and 0.57 digs per game...She was second on the team with 0.88 blocks per game...Had 10 block solos and a team best 68 block assists...Was third on the team in hitting percentage with a mark of .295...Had a career-high 14 kills in back-to-back matches vs. Long Beach State and Pacific in the Thunderdome... Added three digs and five blocks in the win over Pacific...Had a career best eight digs in the win over Oral Roberts on September 11th...Had seven matches with double-digit kills: 11 vs. Stanford, 11 vs. Florida State, 14 vs. Long Beach State, 14 and 13 vs. Pacific, 10 vs. Nevada, and 11 vs. Utah State.

University of Oregon
Started most of her freshman year at Oregon, including the first 18 matches of the season...Had career-highs of 12 kills and 13 block assists in a win over Oregon State...Also had 12 kills versus Weber State...Had ten kills without an error versus Portland with a career best four aces...Tallied double-doubles on three occasions: 10 kills/10 digs versus Ohio State, 10 digs/10 blocks versus Rice and 12 kills/13 blocks versus Oregon State.

High School
Prepped at Laguna Beach High School...Was a Fab-50 selection...Led Laguna Beach to a perfect 10-0 mark in the Pacific Coast League and into the quarterfinals of the CIF Championships as a senior...Was the PCL and Orange County Register Player of the Year in 1995.
