2012: One of only six players to appear in all 35 games…Ended the season with 36 goals, the second most on the team…Had a seven game scoring streak to start the season and 10 multiple goal games…Scored a season-best five goals in a win over Sonoma State (Jan. 28)…Held the team’s third best shooting percentage with .419 and also handed out a total of 13 assists…Drew 19 ejections and tallied five field blocks and six steals.
2011: Played in 30 contests as a sophomore, racking up 15 goals and 10 steals…Drew 12 ejections to tie for sixth on the team and handed out four assists and a field block…Had three multiple-goal outings including hat tricks against Bucknell (Mar. 19) and Big West Conference foe Cal State Northridge (Apr. 9).
2010: Played in seven games as a true freshman...Recorded a goal and a steal...First career goal came in a loss to Pacific (Apr. 18).
Played at Chino Hills High School under coaches Mike Cardey and Ann Barunda...Was a three-time All-Sierra League pick and earned Second Team All-CIF Division III South Section honors...Served as her team's captain her junior and senior seasons...Was named Player of the Game in the third round of the 2007 CIF Semifinals...Also competed on the Huskies swim team, serving as the team captain during her junior campaign...Was the 2008-09 ASB Commissioner of Homeroom Competitions...Also a member of Schools for Schools (Invisible Children) Club.
Has played with CHAWP, Riverside Water Polo and SoCal Water Polo Foundation...Was a member of the third-place team at the 2009 National Junior Olympics...Took first at the Hale Summer Championships and was voted the team's MVP at the tournament...Placed eighth at the Women's 20-and-Under Nationals...Took first at the Hawaiian Invitational and was named Tournament MVP as a 16-and-under...Placed fourth at the Hawaiian Invitational as an 18-and-under.
Bryce Winton was born on May 8, 1992 in San Dimas, Calif....Parents are Rick and Lisa Winton...Has older twin brothers, Trevor and Weston...Has yet to declare a major at UCSB but intends on picking up a minor in Spanish...Enjoys playing paintball and fishing...Names "Mean Girls" as her favorite movie and enjoys reading "Twilight"...Favorite musician is Lady Gaga...Names her parents as her personal heroes...Says coming back from a four-goal deficit with four minutes to play to beat Arlington High School in overtime and advance to the CIF Semifinals (2006-07) was her most memorable athletic achievement.
