The Big West Tournament
No. 13 UC Santa Barbara will open its Big West Tournament debut against No. 10 Long Beach State.  The Gauchos claimed the fifth seed in the tournament while Long Beach is seeded fourth. Depending on the results of Friday's match, UCSB will either play against first seeded UC Irvine or second seeded Northridge for Saturday's match. 

Offensive Leaders
Junior Lauren Martin was named Big West Conference Player of the Week this week. Martin has earned 33 goals and 102 kick outs drawn. Sophomore Jessie Porter is also a major asset to the Gauchos offense as she has racked in 29 goals, 15 assists, and 9 kick outs drawn. Sophomore Bryn Hudson has totaled 25 goals, 15 assists, and 12 kick outs drawn. 

Leading the Defense
Sophomore Mackenzie Brokaw has accumulated 137 saves thus far, averaging 5.7 saves per game.

Up Ahead For the Gauchos
Depending on the performance of the Gauchos in the Big West Conference tournament, Santa Barbara will head to Los Angeles, California to participate in the NCAA Championships.
