After battling a staph infection early in the season, earned the starting left field position, appearing in 44 games and starting 34 ... Finished third on the team with a .324 batting average and nine doubles ... His .446 slugging percentage was tops among UCSB's regulars, while his .403 on-base percentage ranked just two points behind leader Robby Nesovic's .405 ... Received the Male Performance of the Year SB Award for his walk-off home run against No. 19 UC Irvine on May 5 ... Was named Big West Field Player of the Week on May 6 after going 8-14 with a 1.000 slugging percentage in a three-game series against UC Irvine ... Named to the Corvallis, Ore. All-Regional team after going 5-13 with a pair of runs scored ... Had a batting average of .324 in two-out situations ... Showed his clutch abilities with a .360 average with runners on ...
