2017: As a true sophomore, appeared in 27 games including 11 starts ... Made seven starts in right field and four in center field ... Posted a slash line of .227/.292/.364 in 44 at-bats ... Hit one home run, drove in three RBIs, scored five runs, and walked four times ... Was UCSB's starting center fielder on Opening Day – he was 1-4 with a double and two runs scored – and went on to appear in the first eight of the team's games ... Top performance of the year came on May 9 at St. Mary's, as he went 2-4 with his sole roundtripper of the year, a double, two runs scored, and two RBIs ... Went 2-3 with a pair of singles in his next appearance at Cal State Fullerton on May 13, one of his three multi-hit games that month ... In May, had a .300 batting average (6-20) and .500 slugging percentage ... Recorded a .385 average (5-13) in two-out at-bats. 

2016: Named the Preseason Big West Freshman of the Year by Baseball America ... UCSB's Opening Day right fielder, McAdoo went on to make 53 appearances including 34 starts, all in right field ... Slashed .191/.307/.243 with five extra-base hits, 16 walks, and 34 strikeouts in 115 at-bats ... When not starting, was usually used a defensive sub in the outfield ... Was 3-5 in stolen base attempts ... One of four Gauchos whose OBP was more than 100 points higher than his batting average ... Started one game in the College World Series and two in the Louisville Super Regional, went a combined 0-6 ... Hit .237 against left-handed pitchers ... Was hitless in three pinch-hit at-bats ... Batted .250 in February and .239 in March, dropped to .136 in April and .118 in May ... Opened the season on a five-game hitting streak ... Had a hit in nine of 10 games from Mar. 4-20 ... De La Salle High School (2012-15): Played three years for De La Salle High School under head coach David Jeans ... Played right field and center field for the Spartans ... His senior year, batted .418 with 20 RBIs, ten extra-base hits, and 27 runs scored in 91 at-bats ... His junior year, batted .297 with 20 RBIs, five extra-base hits, with 14 runs scored in 91 at-bats ... Was Named East Bay Athletic League MVP, All-League First Team ... Also received an honorable mention for the All American team and was selected First-Team All-California region and second team All-State ... Was also an Under Armor Pre-season All American ... In the semifinal game before the NCS state championship, made a throw from mid-centerfield to home plate to get the last out before heading to the NCS championship game ... Won three league championships and one NCS State Championship ... Made three postseason appearances ... Also competed in football ... Earned academic honors with a 3.5 GPA in his senior year ... Played with the Corvallis Knights in the summer West Coast League before coming to UCSB.
