Shaelan Murison's outstanding junior season for UCSB culminated in her earning First Team All-Big West Conference and Second Team All-West Region honors...Paced the Gauchos in several offensive categories including goals (10), points (24), game winning goals (5), shots (100) and shots on goal (34)....Murison's four assists ranked third on the team, and two of them came in one game against Illinois-Chicago when she also scored two goals for a total of six points...That six point outburst was the highest-scoring match for any Gaucho that season...Started all 21 games and logged 1,656 minutes.
2017
Murison ranked third on the team in goals with three and points with nine...Tied for the team-lead with three assists...Scored a pair of goals on Sept. 24 vs. Denver...Scored one of UCSB's goals in a 3-0 win over Long Beach State...Her assists came against Idaho, UC Irvine and CSUN...When Murison scored at least one point, the Gauchos were 3-1-1...Played in all 19 matches and made eight starts...Saw 697 minutes of action.
2016
Murison played in 17 games and started three in her freshman season at UCSB...Was named to the Big West's All-Freshman Team following the year...Scored four goals and had a pair of assists for 10 points...Totaled 27 shots, eight of which were on goal...Three of her goals came when she notched a hat trick in a 4-1 win at Texas-San Antonio...Her other goal came in a 2-0 win over UNLV.
