In her freshman campaign, Goncharova had an overall record of 9-9…played primary from the No. 6 singles position going 5-1 and 1-2 from the No. 5 position… partnered Elizaveta Volodko in the fall and briefly in the spring going 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the fall…In the spring partnered with Juliana  Valero going 6-5 overall and an impressive 4-1 from the No. 2 position..reached the semifinal of the prestigious Jack Kramer Invitational in doubles with partner Stephanie Yamada.
