SANTA BARBARA, Calif: On Tuesday, December 19, the Gauchos are gearing up to host the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners in their inaugural home meet of the season. Fresh from the Zippy Invite and a brief period of rest, the Gauchos are eager to showcase their prowess.

In their previous encounter with the Roadrunners, the Gauchos experienced remarkable success, securing a dual sweep in Bakersfield for both the men's and women's teams. Now, back on their home turf, the Gauchos are determined to extend that success, demonstrating their skills to their loyal hometown fans.

Highlighted swimmers for this upcoming event include Matthew Driscoll, Kyle Brill, Hazel Derr, and Samantha Banos. Not only did these athletes set memorable times and claim titles for the Gauchos during the Midseason Zippy Invite in Akron, but they also clinched first-place victories in their respective events during the last face-off in Bakersfield. 

Make sure to come and cheer for the men's and women's teams on Tuesday at Dos Pueblos High School at 1:00 pm to witness exciting races and memorable victories.
