The UC Santa Barbara Gaucho Pep Band is a volunteer student organization and relies on donations for financial support. The atmosphere the Gaucho Pep Band provides the teams, fans, and campus is extremely valuable and helps to ensure strong school pride.

UC Santa Barbara cheerleading is also a volunteer student group performing at soccer and basketball games in addition to performing as a competitive cheer squad.
