Gauchos Shutout Gaels

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis Team was once again victorious in their second home match of the season against Saint Mary's College. The Gauchos sweeped the Gaels, 7-0 .

HOW IT HAPPENED\
Starting off strong on court three was Conrad Brown and Luka Mrsic, who quickly defeated their Gael opponents, 6-2. Kai Brady and Lucca Liu followed with a win on court two to ultimately clinch the doubles point. 

Opening up singles play was Luka Mrisc, who dominated with a quick 6-1, 6-3 win to extend the Gaucho lead 2-0. Santa Barbara then rattled off three straight set victories, securing the match. Conrad Brown was able to overcome his competition after dropping the first set, winning 10-5 in a tiebreaker. In a nail biting performance, Pablo Masjuan wrapped things up with a win, taking the third set after dropping the second.
