SANTA BARBARA, Calif. —  The UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis earned another hard fought victory over the Aggies of UC Davis Monday afternoon. After being down 3-1, the Gauchos rallied to secure a 4-3 win and remain atop The Big West standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos encountered an early setback when they narrowly lost out on the doubles point. The Aggies took the early advantage with a 6-3 win on court three. UC Santa Barbara's 38th ranked doubles pairing of Pablo Masjuan and Gianluca Brunkow then leveled the Aggies with a 6-3 victory in the No. 1 position. A hard fought match on court two turned to defeat for the Gauchos dropping 6-4.

The Gauchos were able to get a point back to open up singles play as Conrad Brown earned a straight-set victory in the No. 6 position. The next two points would go to the Aggies as they picked up wins on courts three and one respectively. UC Santa Barbara dug deep and picked up a win on court four. Lucca Liu brought the Gauchos' within one with a 7-6 (8), 6-2 on court four. Brunkow evened the match with a straight-set victory on court two. 

All eyes turned to court five as Kai Brady and his opponent were tied at one set each. After going down 4-1 in set three Brady gutted out a 7-5 win to secure the victory for Santa Barbara.
