SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis Team claimed a decisive 4-0 victory over Texas Tech on Friday morning, continuing their strong start to the season.

"Overall, it was a great team win today," said Muller. "The guys came out with great energy in doubles, which was a focus for us in practice throughout the week. They were able to carry that into singles to get convincing wins at three and four, which applied some scoreboard pressure. From there, the rest of the guys competed hard and were able to get our fourth point. We're looking to carry this momentum into Sunday against Cal, a very strong team, and we're excited for the challenge."

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos came out strong from the start, setting the tone in doubles play with 6-3 victories on both courts one and two. The match on court three between Conrad Brown and Teo Masera and Texas Tech's Niksa Arsic and Felipe Pagnacco remained unfinished with a 3-4 scoreline in favor of UCSB when the point was clinched.

In singles, UCSB took control with solid performances across multiple courts. Diogo Morais (6-2, 6-1) and Lucca Liu (6-2, 6-2) both notched straight-set victories. Conrad Brown followed with a tough 6-4, 7-5 win, sealing the victory for the Gauchos at 4-0. Teo Masera also made his dual match debut for the Gauchos on court six, leading 7-6, 1-0 before the overall victory was clinched.
