DAVIS, Calif. - The No. 39 UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis team continued conference play on Saturday afternoon defeating UC Davis with a major comeback in singles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos got in the running for the doubles point with a 6-1 win from No. 45 Gianluca Brunkow and Dominique Rolland on court one. The Aggies pulled close with a win of their own on court three over Conrad Brown and Charlie Underwood. Both teams vied for the doubles point on court two as Lucca Liu and Diogo Morais ultimately fell in a tight 8-6 tiebreak for the set. 

The Gauchos got the point back quickly headed into singles as Lucca Liu won 6-4, 6-3. No. 65 Gianluca Brunkow fought in a tiebreak for the first set, but he ultimately dropped the match as the Aggies pushed ahead. In the fourth position, No. 108 Diogo Morais battled back from a loss in the first set to ultimately win the third 6-3. Dominique Rolland got the Gauchos their first lead of the day as he forced a third set and earned the win. Matei Gavrea fell 7-5, 6-3 on court six as the score remained tied once again.

All eyes turned to Charlie Underwood on court five as the match went to a third set. The freshman avenged his second set loss with a 6-4 win in the third set to clinch the victory for the Blue and Gold.
