ATLANTA, Ga. – The Sports Video Group announced the 2025 SVG College Sports Media Awards winners in association with NACDA earlier this week. UC Santa Barbara Athletics student videographer, Diran Bebekian earned his second award in as many years for his work.
 
After winning Outstanding Social Media Video for his Swim Hype Video during the 2023-24 season, Bebekian again earned an award for his Men's Soccer Intro Video for the 2024 season. His video was named Most Outstanding In-Venue Video.
 
Bebekian was also a finalist a year ago for Outstanding In-Venue Video for his Men's Basketball Video, and again a finalist for Cinematic Recap for his 2024 Season Recap of the Men's Soccer Program.
 
"Winning Outstanding In-Venue Video across all colleges is such a special moment for me," said Bebekian. "It's an honor to win at this event for the second year and represent UC Santa Barbara on a national level. I put a lot of time into every project, and I'm super grateful—not just to win, but to share my work with UCSB fans, athletes and the entire country. Huge thanks goes out to the UC Santa Barbara Athletic Department for always trusting me and my vision. This is an awesome moment all around."
