Nine Gauchos Earn Easton NFCA Scholar-Athlete Recognition

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced 2025 All-America Scholar-Athletes with UC Santa Barbara Softball well-represented on the list. This marks back-to-back years that seven or more student-athletes have earned the award.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must achieve a 3.5 cumulative grade point average for the academic year. The NFCA also recognizes the top 10 academic teams by overall GPA each Fall through the Easton/NFCA Top 10 Academic Team program.
 
Representing the Gauchos as All-America Scholar-Athletes are Ainsley Waddell, Dee Ma'ae, Elicia Acosta, Erin Mendoza, Grace Luderer, Jazzy Santos, Kaylin Garcia, Lucy Mogan, Makayla Newsom and Tehya Banks.
