LONG BEACH, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Swim program sent a select few athletes to Long Beach to compete in the MPSF Open Water Championships on Saturday afternoon.
The 2000-meter relay team of
Owen Berry,
Andrew Lillie,
Jack Hendrick,
Laird Delbridge and
Will Titley took fourth in the event. The Women also took fourth in the 2000-meter with a team of
Lilli Perner,
Chloe Eyrich,
Amelie Ogilby and
Melina Seider.
Perner also earned a fifth-place finish in the women's 5K.
UP NEXT
The women will prepare for a meet against California Baptist on Nov. 6 and Nov. 7, while the men will have a couple of weeks off as they prepare for a tri-meet against Pepperdine and UC San Diego.
