SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Miranda Stevenson of UC Santa Barbara Women's Swimming has been named the MPSF Women's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week, the conference announced today.
In the Gauchos' dual meet against BYU, Stevenson won the 100-yard backstroke by over two seconds and was the third leg of the 200-freestyle relay team that also earned a first-place finish. She capped the meet off by being the second leg of the 200-yard medley relay team that won that event as well.
Stevenson and the Gauchos will be back in action on Nov. 6 as they travel to Riverside to take on California Baptist in a dual meet that will run from Friday, Nov. 6 to Saturday, Nov. 7.
