SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Athletics Department held the annual Golden Eagle Awards banquet Wednesday night, honoring the top academic achievements of 20 student-athletes.
The Golden Eagle award honors the student-athlete from each program who has the highest cumulative grade point average (3.25 minimum) and consistently exhibits citizenship and integrity. The honoree must be at least sophomore standing at UC Santa Barbara to receive the award.
The annual event is made possible by the generous support of longtime civic leaders and Gaucho donors Peter and Gerd Jordano (Pacific Beverage). View the complete list of winners below.
