2020
• Ben Fariss had just two at bats during the 2020 season, going hitless.
• Did not make an appearance on the mound.

2019
In his Sophomore campaign, Fariss appeared in 8 games for the Gauchos…Had 7 at-bats and 1 walk….Scored a run after walking and stealing his only base of the season in a blowout win at UNLV on (Feb 19)…RBI groundout in a battle with UNLV on (Feb 20) In the field put together 3 total putouts from the outfield.  

2018
Before the season, was listed as the No. 75 player on Perfect Game's Top Freshmen list…Saw limited action as a two-way player during his freshman season…Made three appearances on the mound…Posted a 3.38 ERA in 2.2 innings pitched with three strikeouts…Went 1-for-5 at the plate with an RBI…Slashed .200/.429/.200…Walked once and was also hit by a pitch…His lone hit was an RBI single in the eighth inning of a 12-0 win over CSUN (May 5).


HIGH SCHOOL
Earned three varsity letters at Valencia High School under head coach Michael Killinger ... After his senior campaign, was drafted in the 39th round by the Toronto Blue Jays ... Pitched and played outfield for the Vikings ... As a senior, batted .368 with five home runs while crafting a 6-3 record and 3.43 ERA ... Had his best campaign as a junior, going 4-0 with a 1.20 ERA while batting .449 and slugging 20 extra-base hits – including 12 doubles and five home runs – in just 31 games ... Was voted as the team's Player of the Year as a junior in 2016, and also garnered First Team All-City and All-State ... His 46 RBIs in 2016 set a Foothill League record ... Won the league championship as a junior and senior with Valencia ... Made a trio of CIF Postseason appearances.
