Michael Marsh was named an Undergraduate Assistant Coach for UC Santa Barbara Baseball before the 2022 season, a short move from the field to the dugout for the former Gaucho student-athlete. Marsh was an infielder for UC Santa Barbara during the 2020 and 2021 seasons, playing in a total of 25 games. He hit for the cycle over his short career — just 30 at-bats — collecting a home run, a triple and two doubles among his seven hits. Marsh served as the Gauchos’ first-base coach in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
