2015: Finished the season with a .261/.379/.432 slash line ... Earning the starting first baseman job after the departure of Tyler Kuresa (drafted by Minnesota), Kelly’s season looked to be cut short after he fractured his right fibula in a game against CSUN on Apr. 12 ... Despite a prognosis that he was done for the season, he came back as a pinch-hitter in the final weekend of the regular season at UC Riverside, even starting the Friday affair ... At the time of his injury, was hitting .267 with three home runs and the most defensive chances in the Big West without an error ... Lined an RBI single into left center in the Friday game of the UCR series ... Hit a walk-off single into right field to beat then-undefeated USC on Mar. 3 ... Had a season-high three hits vs. BYU on Opening Day, Feb. 13 ... Hit .310 with runners in scoring position ... Missed just 19 games and 36 days with his fracture ...
