Appeared in 20 games for the Gauchos, totaling 26 strikeouts … Earned his first career win against Oregon on March 5, tossing 3 1/3 scoreless innings with three strikeouts … Made his first collegiate start on March 8 against Loyola Marymount, retiring the first five batters he faced and collecting four strikeouts on the day.

Made nine appearances, pitching eight innings and recording eight strikeouts.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played right field, first base, and pitched for coach Steve Detwiler at San Rafael High School … Led the league with 38 strikeouts, a 1.07 ERA and a .116 opponent batting average against on the mound his senior year … Capped his Bulldog career with a 14-strikeout no-hitter in his final game … All-League selection … Helped the team reach the CIF NCS Playoffs in back-to-back seasons … Also played basketball, earning an All-League selection after nearly averaging a double-double.
