All-Big West First Team selection … Named Big West Field Player of the Week after a monster weekend at Oregon (February 24-25), when he hit two home runs, two doubles, and stole two bases … Led The Big West in home runs (15) and slugging percentage (.672), ranking third in on-base plus slugging percent (1.071) and tied for third in stolen bases (11) … Also led UC Santa Barbara in batting average (.322), RBI (43), doubles (15), multiple-RBI games (11), and total bases (119) … Stole his 11 bases on 13 attempts, the best success rate by any Gaucho with more than one attempt … Strung together the team’s second-longest hit and on-base streaks, at 11 and 14 games, respectively … Hit his first Gaucho home run on his debut against Minnesota (February 19), driving in a total of three runs on the day … Had his first multi-home run game of the season at Oregon (February 25) … Also had two-homer games against CSUN (March 26) and UC Irvine (April 15) … His grand slam against California Baptist on May 15 broke the UC Santa Barbara team record for total home runs in a season, the Gauchos’ 79th long ball of the year … Also had a grand slam against San Jose State (April 11) … Was perfect defensively in the outfield, maintaining a 1.000 fielding percentage on 79 chances.

Played in 30 games, hitting .400 with six home runs, 26 RBI, and 16 stolen bases … Tallied a season-high three RBI on three separate occasions, going 1-for-4 with a triple and two walks against Mission College (February 18), 2-for-4 with a home run against Cabrillo College (February 24), and 4-for-5 with a homer and a double against Diablo Valley College (March 4).

Played in 18 games, hitting .386 with 13 RBI and seven stolen bases … Hit his first career home run on May 13 against the College of Marin … Went 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and two stolen bases against Diablo Valley on May 28.
