  • Jordan Sprinkle played in 58 games for the Gauchos with a slash line of .353/.402/.536
  • Ended the year with 83 hits in 235 at-bats with 18 doubles, two triples, seven homers, and 32 RBIs
  • Led the Big West with 26 stolen bases to rank 15th in the country
  • Went 4-for-4 with a pair of home runs, a double, and drove in 6 RBIs in addition to a walk and a stolen base in a 15-5 win against UC San Diego (Apr. 17)
  • In a 6-0 victory over Long Beach State (Apr. 24), Sprinkle tallied up five RBIs and ended the day 2-for-5 with a double and a home run
  • Finished third in the Big West in hitting with a .373 average within the conference
  • Became the third Gaucho to receive Big West Co-Freshman Field Player of the Year

2020
• Jordan Sprinkle entered three games for the Gauchos in 2020.

HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered all four years for the Palm Desert Aztecs, playing shortstop for coach Darol Salazar ...  Had an outstanding final two years in the Desert Empire League, was named All-league in 2018 for his production at the plate (40 hits, 36 runs, 21 RBI and .404 avg) and in the basepaths (11 sb) ... In 2019, Jordan was again All-league, as well as All-league Defensive MVP, Team MVP, All-CIF SS Division I and Max Prep All-state  Second team ... His numbers in 2019: 32 runs, 40 hits, 18 RBI, .388 avg and 16 stolen bases ... Helped lead the Aztecs to league titles in each of his four years ... 2017 CIF Championship runner-up ... Best performance came in his junior year, going 9-10 in a two game series wth five singles, two doubles and two triples.

Plans to major in Sociology with a possible minor in Economics, and wants to pursue entrepreneurship ... Favorite sports team is the St. Louis Cardinals ... Favorite athlete is Ozzie Smith ... Loves watching Benchwarmers, Breaking Bad, and Ramy ... Jordan's most memorable sports moment is playing at Dodger Stadium, and loves playing basketball as a hobby.
