In his first season with the Gauchos, Mark provided some pop in the middle of the lineup and gave Coach Checketts various defensive options...he appeared in 49 games starting 48 mostly at 1st or 3rd base and occasionally in right field...finished tied for third on the team with 30 RBI and was fourth on the team with 13 doubles, also homered once against Pepperdine on March 27...had multiple RBI games on 7 occasions including four 3 RBI games...had a career game against Rhode Island on March 16 where he went 5-5 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, and 4 runs...finished the season with a .262 batting average in 183 at bats.
