2019
Appeared in 23 games despite missing much of the season due to injury…Hit .324/.358/.459 in 74 at-bats…Drove in 11 runs and scored 14 times…Six of 24 hits were for extra bases, including two home runs…Shortly after returning from injury, had a 14-game (Apr. 27-May 19) on-base streak, during which he got hits in 13 of the 14 games…During this stretch, he hit .351 with four doubles, a home run, nine RBI, and 11 runs…In a win over Long Beach State (May 11), went 3-for-5, scoring twice and recording an RBI and a stolen base…Defensively, had 14 put outs and 36 assists, and also turned six double plays.
2018
Split time at second base and shortstop in his freshman campaign…Appeared in 42 games while making 19 starts at second and 16 starts at shortstop…Had a slash line of .214/.278/.321…Scored 18 runs while driving in 10…Added seven doubles, two triples and one homerun…Walked 11 times…Made his UCSB debut in the season opener at San Diego State on Feb. 16…Recorded his first collegiate hit and RBI the very next day against the Aztecs…Finished with six multi-hit games…Had a season-high seven game hitting-streak…Reached base in a season-best nine straight games…Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a double, and a season-high three RBIs in a 13-4 win over LMU on Apr. 10…Hit his first career homerun in a 15-5 win over Dartmouth on Mar. 14…Had a hit in 22 games.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played four varsity seasons at Carter High School in Rialto, Calif. under head coach Sam Lopez, where he put together one of the most storied careers in school history ... Hit over .379 in all four seasons, and hit over .400 in three of four campaigns ... Was a four-time First Team All-League pick ... Set the school record for most career hits (153) ... Won two league championships with the Lions ... Two-time All-CIF selection ... Took his game to another level as a senior, batting .579 with 23 RBIs, 21 extra-base hits (five home runs), and a 1.616 OPS en route to League MVP honors ...
