2016: Redshirted as a true freshman at UCSB ... Spent the summer with the Victoria HarbourCats of the West Coast League ... Was teammates with fellow Gaucho freshman Tommy Jew ... In 28 games, batted .267 with a .391 on-base percentage ... Worked 19 walks in just 109 plate appearances ... Went 3-7 in two postseason games ... Had eight multi-hit games ... Pitched two games in relief for Victoria, totaling 1.1 IP with just one hit and no runs allowed. 

High School: Played three years at Agoura High School under head coach Anthony Chevrier ... Played outfield and pitched for the Chargers ... Was a two-time All-Marmonte League selection ... Made the postseason in each of his three varsity years ... Won three Marmonte League championships ... Won the National Classic tournament in 2015, one of the top high school tourneys in the country ... Also competed in soccer, was a two-time All-League selection ... In the summer before attending UC Santa Barbara, played for the Garciaparra Baseball Group Marucci team, where he was named to the Perfect Game All-California First Team.
