Isaac Shinbrot joined the UC Santa Barbara Baseball staff as a Player Development and Player Recruitment Assistant at the beginning of the 2025 season. Shinbrot had previously served as a student manager for the Gauchos and maintained many of those duties alongside his new role. As Player Development and Recruitment Assistant, Shinbrot helps the coaching staff with scouting reports for upcoming opponents and tracks pitcher performance during games. He also assists with pre-game batting practice and infield-outfield drills while still contributing to field maintenance and providing other operational assistance pre- and post-game.
A native of Encino, Shinbrot graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2025 with a degree in political science.
