2017: In his first season with the Gauchos, Ledesma was an oft-used arm out of the bullpen while making a pair of starts ... Was used in both long relief (nine multi-inning outings) and short relief ... Tied with Shea Barry for the team lead with 23 appearances ... Finished the year with a 2-5 record, a 6.80 ERA, 26 walks, and 57 strikeouts over 43 2/3 innings ... His 11.75 strikeouts per nine innings was the best on the team ... Had a 4.30 ERA as a reliever (18 earned runs over 37 2/3 innings) ... Allowed 15 earned runs in over six innings in his two starts, at Kentucky and BYU ... Started off the year strong, posting a 1.04 ERA in February ... Pitched at least eight innings every month, including 15 1/3 frames in April ... Started his Division I career with four innings of shutout relief at Loyola Marymount on Feb. 18, adding four strikeouts ...
