All-Big West Honorable Mention … Finished with the tenth-highest strikeouts-per-nine-innings ratio (13.01 K/9) in all of Division I … Finished second among all Big West freshmen with 80 strikeouts … Matched the team high with five wins and earned four saves … Earned his first career save with a near-perfect performance at Oregon (February 25), pitching the final three innings and striking out seven of the ten Ducks he faced, with the only runner reaching on an error … Earned his first career win and racked up a season-high nine strikeouts against Pepperdine on March 7, working six scoreless innings … Had two more scoreless outings on the season, both in relief, against UC San Diego (April 21) and Loyola Marymount (May 9) … Also had a two-inning outing against CSU Bakersfield (March 19) in which he only allowed one unearned run.
