PRIOR TO UC SANTA BARBARA: Competed in golf for four seasons at Fairfield University … capped his senior season by winning the MAAC Championship to move onto the NCAA Auburn Regional … was also named the MAAC Player of the Year … received Fairfield Athlete of the Year … won the ABARTA Coca-Cola Invitational by finishing eight under par … finished second in two different tournaments his junior year … finished in the Top 10 three tournaments across his freshman and sophomore seasons, including a second-place finish during the Hartford/Tumble Brook Invitational.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the United Kingdom for Bradfield College … won the Gerald Micklem Trophy, the oldest high school golf trophy in the UK, three times during his high school career … won the HMC Foursome, a national title, in 2018.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Alison McGinley ... has two siblings, Niamh and Maia  ... both of his parents were professional golfers ... Paul was member of three consecutive, and victorious, Ryder Cup teams (2002, 2004, 2006), including the clinching putt in 2002 ... Alison was a three-time All-American and played on the Ladies European Tour … plans to earn his master’s in technology management.
