Attended Santa Monica High School and swam under coach Matthew Flanders…Set the 500 Freestyle and 200 Individual Medley Pioneer League record…Earned MVP honors twice and was a one time Most Inspirational award winner.
PERSONAL
Andy Lau was born on September 28, 1995 in Los Angeles, Calif.…Majoring in geography and aspires to become CEO or CFO of a company someday...Hobbies include video games, sleeping, napping, lying at the beach, eating, and getting boba with friends…Enjoys snacking on white rice and acai bowls before a meet...Began swimming at age 5...Favorite aspect of college swimming is spending time with friends and family, and racing against top teams and meeting new people...If he could add an event to each meet it would be the 100 backstroke underwater...Earning his first Junior National Time Standard in the 400IM and getting a call from Gregg Wilson is the proudest achievement in his swimming career.
